INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK ended red as investors
remained jittery ahead of key economic data as well as the 
retail price index-based inflation for the month of November is 
slated for release post market hours. Investors are also on the 
lookout for Index of Industrial Production (IIP) data which will 
be released after market hours.




Further, TCS announced that it has been selected by the
Improvement Service to implement a Citizen Account Service 
for Scottish citizens.


Tata Motors slipped nearly 4.6% on reports that its UK
subsidiary JLR expanded its capex guidance which is likely to 
strain the company's cash flows in near term.

INDIAN MARKET OUTLOOK - 12 DECEMBER 2013

INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK ended lower amid a volatile
trading session, as investors turned cautious ahead of the
consumer price inflation data for November due for release
tomorrow. Further, markets shrugged off the November trade
data. Tata Motors dropped 3.35 percent to Rs 377.40 apiece as
its UK subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) increased capex
guidance for FY15. 

Further, Shares of State Bank of India fell 5.25 percent in two
sessions to Rs 1,790 on equity dilution fears. 

 Elder Pharmaceutical has surged 12% to end at Rs 320 on
back of heavy volumes on the bourses. The company said it
has been exploring various options to reduce its deb.

INDIAN MARKET OUTLOOK - 11 DECEMBER 2013

INDIAN BENCHMARKS likely to further consolidate today and is seen opening lower tracking lacklustre, as benchmarks came under selling pressure yesterday as investors booked profits at higher levels.

FURTHER, The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has slapped Coal India Ltd (CIL) with a penalty of Rs 1,773 crore for allegedly abusing dominant position in supply of the dry fuel. Heineken upped its stake in Vijay Mallya’s United Breweries Ltd, which owns the lucrative Kingfisher beer brand, through the open market purchase.

Trend in FII flows: The FIIs were net buyers of Rs.395 cr in the cash segment on Tuesday while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs. 628 cr, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.

INDIAN MARKET OUTLOOK - 02 DECEMBER 2013
