BASE METAL WRAP: Copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) has closed lower as a stronger US dollar and concerns regarding the outlook for Chinese demand and US economic stimulus measures weighed upon the metal.
ENERGY WRAP: West Texas Intermediate crude surged above $100 a barrel for the first time since September as Egypt’s political showdown escalated and an industry report showed U.S. stockpiles shrank the most this year.
PRECIOUS METAL WRAP: Gold traders in India, the world's biggest buyer of the metal, stayed on the sidelines on Tuesday, and premiums continued to get support from lower supplies due to restrictions by the RBI.
