Stock Market Trend - 12 July 2013

BASE METAL WRAP: Copper climbed to a three-week high  in New York on speculation that central banks in China and the U.S., the world’s biggest metals consumers, will maintain policies aimed at stoking economic growth.

ENERGY WRAP: West Texas Intermediate crude traded near a two-day low, trimming a third weekly gain as jobless claims in the U.S. rose to the highest level in two months and the IEA said global oil supply will exceed demand next year.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP: Gold headed for the best weekly performance since October 2011 after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke called for maintaining stimulus, while assets in the largest bullion-backed exchange-traded product held steady.

GLOBAL EVENTS TO WATCH: Home Loans m/m, PPI m/m, Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment, Core PPI m/m, Prelim UoM Inflation Expectations, FOMC Member Bullard Speaks.
