BASE METAL WRAP: Industrial metals swung between gains and losses as investors awaited the release of U.S. consumer prices and industrial production data later today and Federal Reserve’s next move on stimulus.

ENERGY WRAP: West Texas Intermediate traded near a three-day high on speculation U.S. crude inventories fell for a third week, signaling increased demand in the world’s biggest oil consumer. Natural gas futures climbed for a second day in New York on forecasts for hotter-than-usual weather that would boost demand for electricity generation.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP: Gold fell for a third day on concern gains last week may deter physical purchases, while investors weighed the Federal Reserve’s next move on stimulus. Assets in the largest gold-backed exchange-traded product held steady.
